In the wishing well of our city
We dropped two coins with hope
They seemed to fall for centuries
Dark waters kept afloat
Tatted eyes watched over them
Unphased by their blinding glow
Seeing through the artist's paint
Only to be seen as a show

Beach-like sentiments
All along the shore
Shooting far from the ocean
Our LA feeling of home

Debree and dirt as company
Altogether form the light water trail
An accepting custom yet not left
That history has since set
The concrete veins led them to their fate
Washed up dry alone and desolate
End of the journey in the heart of LA
A positive change out of all that were made
